Summer Preview: Exciting Updates from Early Learning Alliance

Summer has arrived, and Early Learning Alliance (ELA) is gearing up for an exciting summer! We’re excited to unveil what’s in store over the coming weeks— from engaging events to meaningful opportunities for our community to connect, learn, and grow. Join us as we explore all that ELA has planned for this vibrant season!

Quarterly Alliance Meeting:
Our upcoming Quarterly Alliance Meeting is on June 11 at The Women’s Center of Tarrant County! This quarter, we will focus on “Partnership in Action: Driving Policy, Collaboration, and Community Connection.”

This gathering is all about collaboration, connection, and impact. Whether you’re a longtime partner or new to the Early Learning Alliance community, this is a chance to engage in meaningful discussions, exchange ideas, and strengthen our collective work in early childhood education (E.C.E.).

What to Expect:

  • Insightful conversations around key initiatives

  • Opportunities to network with fellow leaders in E.C.E. advocacy

  • Updates on upcoming events and collaborative efforts

  • A warm, welcoming space to share experiences and knowledge

Summer Socials & Network:
We’re also looking forward to our Summer Happy Hour Social which is set for July 31 in Fort Worth, and we cannot wait to connect with you. Whether you’re looking to expand your professional network or simply unwind with great company, this event promises a fantastic mix of community, conversation and well-deserved fun. Location is still. TBD, but stay tuned for more details— including registration information—coming soon! We look forward to raising a glass and celebrating together.

ELA at the Help Me Grow National Forum:
ELA is honored to be a co-presenter at the upcoming Help Me Grow (HMG) National Forum in Harford, Connecticut, contributing a session titled “Not All Superheroes Wear Capes: Events Created by Parents and for Parents.” We are excited to share our network and learn from other leaders in the field. This forum highlights the importance of family leadership and engagement in early childhood systems, emphasizing how parents play a crucial role in shaping supportive communities.  It’s a great opportunity to connect with  national experts and bring back innovative ideas to our community.

ELA has been actively involved in HMG North Texas, serving on leadership teams and subcommittees that focus on family engagement, child care, and data collection.

The Help Me Grow National Forum 2025 brings together leaders, advocates, and professionals dedicated to strengthening early childhood systems. This year’s theme, "Weathering Any Storm: Building Resilient Early Childhood Systems," focuses on strategies to ensure families and children have access to supportive resources, no matter the challenges they face.
