Vision, Mission, and Values

The Early Learning Alliance was formed in 2013 when early childhood leaders from across Tarrant County came together and agreed that systemic change for our children and families was needed, and this monumental goal could only be possible with teamwork and collaboration.

Together, members of ELA share the vision of a Tarrant County where every child has the foundation they need to succeed in school and in life.

Our mission is to ensure Kindergarten readiness for all children in Tarrant County through a cross-sector collaboration committed to thriving children.

In all that we do, staff and members of ELA uphold the following values:

• We believe that only through partnership can we achieve a Tarrant County dream of raising thriving children.

• We believe in enriching the health of a child’s whole family.

• We believe quality early experiences are critical to success in school and life and require community dedication.

• We champion all adults in a child’s life, from family members and caregivers to educators and health care professionals.
